Embryo Freezing

Compared to the chance of achieving pregnancy with frozen-thawed gametes, the chance of achieving pregnancy with frozen and thawed embryo transfer is very high. Since embryos have more stable structures compared to gametes, the post-thaw survival rate of embryos frozen with the rapid freezing technique known as vitrification has reached 60-80 % in recent years. The pregnancy and live birth success rates achieved by our center by using frozen-thawed embryos are at least as high as those achieved by fresh embryo IVF cycles.
